The location is fantastic. The hotel is a stone's throw from Circular Quay, the Harbour Bridge, and the Opera House. The proximity to many top restaurants and bars is AMAZING!!!
I found the indoor pool to be a joke for a hotel like this. I have seen better pools at Holiday Inn Express hotels. The club lounge and rooftop bar were closed for VIP guests, IHG senior management to be precise.

The location was convenient. It was a short walk to the Opera House.
I found the service lacking a personal touch. My anniversary was not acknowledged by the staff. There were long waits at all the food service areas.

Romantic Moments at the Harbour

I got a room upgrade upon arrival. The staff were helpful and professional. I enjoyed the modern interior and techy power points. The view from the rooftop bar was amazing. I watched ferries along the harbour.
The check-in line was long.

My room had two queen beds with a window seat. It was a great size. The bathroom was good too. I found the room clean and very comfortable, a really good experience.
Dining

Breakfast provided a great variety of food including an egg station. There was a usual buffet breaky and lots of fresh fruit. Light food and drink at the top floor Astor Bar is a treat, after a busy day.
